I teach a variety of piano styles, from classical to blues all the way to pop. rock and jazz

 

Regardless of the style, however, I am keen to provide my students with the technical foundations which will accompany them through their artistic development.  This is incredibly important as it can take a significant amount of time and effort to undo faulty basic technique 

 

I welcome complete beginners as well as intermediate and advanced players.

 

I am also happy to assist musicians who already master their instrument (not only the piano) and want to learn to read music 

 

I also find it rewarding to teach (often mature) students who have had some early piano training and wish to take it further in a way that is satisfying to them without necessarily any specific goals or preparation for exams
